El Esperado Reporte Médico del 30 de Diciembre del 2008          

 

Estuvimos en el DFCI, para ver al Dr., Freedman,  Marilú y yo, Andrés, Víctor A. y Natalia.

Marilú y yo llegamos a las 7:00 AM para que le hicieran un MRI y los Doctores pudieran ver si las células linfáticas en el intestino habían desaparecido. El resultado fue que aunque si se redujo la presencia de esas células linfáticas todavía se encuentran ahí. Las quimioterapias han atacado al mal en todo el cuerpo, pero las del intestino siguen presentes…Los demás llegaron a las 10:00 AM para la cita con el Dr. Freedman.

Se requiere que el cuerpo de Marilú esté libre de afectaciones para que las nuevas células madre a ser trasplantadas no tengan además de homologarse en otro cuerpo otros trabajos como combatir a células linfáticas o cualquier otra situación.

Entonces se va a proceder a radiar ese preciso lugar para erradicar de una vez por todas las células linfáticas existentes.

Eso nos atrasa 6 semanas a partir de ahora. El viernes 2 de Enero, tenemos una cita de planeación para estos efectos con el Dr. Peter M. Mauch, M.D., Radiologo, a quien el Dr. Freedman delegó esta próxima etapa del tratamiento.

We went to the DFCI to see Dr. Freedman, Marilu and I, Andres, Victor A and Natalia.

Marilu and I arrived at 7:00 AM for the MRI, to enable the Doctors see if the lymphatic cells in the intestine had disappeared. The result was that notwithstanding the presence of lymphatic cells have decreased they are still present. Chemotherapies have attacked the cancer throughout the body, but those in the intestine are still present…Our party was complete at 10:00 AM when the rest arrived for the meeting with Dr. Freedman.

Marilu’s body must be free of any malignant bodies, to allow the new stem cells to be transplanted to engraft and not to be bothered with other tasks like fighting lymphatic cells or any other sickness.

The next procedure is radiology in that precise spot to eradicate once and for all the existing lymphatic cells.

These puts us back six weeks as from now. On Friday January 2^nd at 10:00 AM we will meet Dr. Peter M. Mauch, M.D., Radiologist, to whom Dr. Freedman has delegated the next phase of the treatment.
